Campaigns: SMS Templates

Welcome to SMS Templates in Outbound by Enreach. 

Here you can view and create SMS Templates to use in your Campaign.

To access SMS Templates, expand the Campaigns drop-down menu and select SMS Templates

Under SMS Templates, you can view all of your existing Templates, including which Campaign the SMS has been used in, and which Campaign it is locked to. Toggle the Status bar to set the template as Active or Inactive.   

Filter the view between Active or Inactive templates, or use the Search bar to search for a specific one. 

Click the cog icon to edit, copy, or delete a template. 


How to Create or Edit an SMS Template

To create a new SMS Template, click New.

These settings are the same for when you Edit an SMS Template:

  • Name: Enter a name for your Template. This is internal only
  • Description: Enter an optional short description
  • Active: Toggle to Active to make the Template available for your Agents
  • Sender: Enter a sender name for the Template. This will appear in the recipients 'from' SMS field
  • Message: Enter the content for the Template. Your message can be customised with any Lead Data by adding a Merge Field when prompted.

Click Save Changes to save your template.

Your Template can now be viewed in the SMS Templates home page, and is ready to use in Campaigns

When you send an SMS from the Contact Page, it will be sent to the Mobile Phone number in the Lead's data. If there isn't a Mobile Phone number


Using a Template in a Campaign

To begin using your SMS Template in a Campaign, expand the Campaigns drop-down menu and select Campaign Overview

Select the Campaign you want to work with and click the pencil icon

Expand the  Edit Campaign drop-down menu, and select SMS Templates.

If you have existing SMS Templates, select them from the drop-down menu, or click Create new to add a new template.

Toggle the Editable switch to make the template editable for users. 

Click Save to save your settings. Your SMS Template will then be tied to the Campaign, and Agents we be able to use the templates when working with the Campaign.
