Release Letter - October 2018

Release letter October 2018

General

They say “Time flies when you are having fun” and, when I look at the past period of development, I can confirm that there is something very true in the old proverb. A month has passed since last release letter and it has been a month packed with the exciting development of Hero Outbound. Read all about it below and find more details on our Help Portal. Once again, on behalf of the whole HeroBase crew, I would like to express our gratitude for all the feedback we are getting from all you Heroes out there! Keep it coming, guys ☺

Increased security MFA (Multi Factor Authentication)

In our ongoing work to protect your data and generally maintain a high level of security, we have added an optional 2-factor authentication. If you have activated this security for a user, he/she will use the standard password (as always) and then an SMS is sent to the phone number of this user. In the SMS there is a verification code that needs to be entered correctly on the next login page. Please note that some administrative features are only available if you have logged in with the 2-factor authentication. In the user settings, you will find the setting for MFA:Please find some time to delve into the details here in the Help Portal

Upload Display numbers

As you probably know, the Display numbers become “worn out” and after some time, you experience that leads reject the calls at an increasing rate. So, you head over to the campaign settings and change the number. Furthermore, you need to keep track of what numbers are work out and which ones are good to use. With this new feature, you will have a list of Display numbers in Hero Outbound and, when a number is worn out, you simply deactivate it. In order to maintain a high level of security, you need to have Display number-permission AND be logged on with the new 2-factor authentication. Please take the time to read up on the details in our Help portal here

Contact attempts vs Call attempts

Previously you have worked with limiting the number of time you try to get in touch with a lead by using Call attempts. This has proven to be insufficient in some cases where the lead has several phone numbers – so we added “Contact attempts”. A Contact attempt is simply an attempt to get hold of the lead – regardless of how many numbers we tried to call on that lead. With this addition, you can now select if you want to count call attempts or contact attempt. For detailed explanations, please have a look here in the Help Portal

Clicking your initials

On popular demand, we have changed the behaviour of the menu that opened, when you put your mouse over your initials on the top right corner of the page. Quite a few of you have told us that this menu very often opened by mistake when you accidentally moved your mouse over it. Now the menu will stay shut until you click it. Thanks for the feedback, guys!
