2nd Release Letter August 2018

General

The intense summer heat has, at least temporarily, given us a break and we are able to move again, without sweating generously. Here at HeroBase, we decided to use this relief to give you another release with some cool features and improvements. Btw.. Thank you very much for reporting issues that you find in the system. We fixed a bunch of those too :-) Check out the details below and enjoy the summer!/HeroBase Crew

Call priority on lost calls from Return Call Manager

When you are using the Return Call Manager and you don’t have any agents free to take the incoming call, it can be a bit frustrating having to wait for that lead to get called again by the dialer. Very often the returning calls are pretty hot leads and you want to talk to them before they “cool down”. With this new feature, that inbound call you just missed, is placed as the next lead to call by the dialer. This way, there is a very good chance that you’ll get to talk to a hot leads more often. Please note: You need to get in touch with us at HeroBase to activate this feature.

Partial recordings available in Call Search

Up until now, you needed to open up the lead log and find the right conversation to find the recording that the agent initiated during the conversation with a lead. Now, we have made this quite a bit easier. Simply search and find the call in the Call Search. On the right hand side of the screen, you’ll find the recordings of both the full conversation and the “Partial recording”. This should save you a few clicks :-)

Job scheduling of Shared Lead Views

Thank you again for bringing this missing feature to our attention! Ever since we introduced Job Scheduling, it has been nice for you to schedule the reports that were shared to you by your colleagues. Somewhere along the line, we forgot to add the same functionality to the shared Lead Views. Now it’s here and you can schedule any view or report that was shared with you.

Alerting that a phone number is blocked

Even if you have blocked a phone number, it was quite possible to create a new lead with a blocked phone number. With this change, you will get an alert, letting you know that the number you just typed is actually on your “Do not call”-list. This greatly reduces the risk of calling people who won’t accept your call or whatever you are offering.Note that the check is done within the project where the number was blocked. You can certainly call the same lead from a different project.

Sender address in Job Scheduling

We’ve added a field where you can enter the sender's E-mail address when you are scheduling a job that sends reports or Lead views. Previously, the address from the users’ “E-mail (Lost password)” was used as sender but, as this field is not mandatory, E-mails were not sent, as there was a missing sender in these cases. After this feature is introduced, Hero Outbound checks for a valid e-mail address in the From-field, If this is blank, it goes to “E-mail (Lost password)”. If this is also blank, it will take the address from the Username where we know we will find a valid e-mail address. In this way, it is no longer possible to schedule a job unless there is a valid E-mail to use as Sender.
