Release letter August 2018

General

We hope this release letter finds you in the shade with a cool drink in your hand. Despite the heat, we are working “full steam” to deliver new features and improvements to Hero Outbound and this release is no exception. Check out the details below and then - Head back to that cool drink in the shade :-)

Improved UI

In the screenshots below you will find that the graphical user interface is slightly different from what you are used to in Hero Outbound. We are in the process of improving our front end and, instead of doing this in one “big bang”, we are gradually introducing the changes page by page. The new interface is very similar to the old one but it is simpler for us to maintain and allows us to introduce future features much easier. You will find the new interface on the page where you edit the campaign settings, for example.

Record agent only

There are situations where sensitive data is given by the lead and storing that data in audio files may be a violation of the current regulations. Before this release, the only way to counter this risk was to stop recording calls completely. This, however, also took away the possibility to coach agents based on the audio recordings. We have made significant changes in our back-end so that we now can separate the agent audio from the lead audio. With this release you can choose if you want to record the full conversation or the agents voice only. As we know that the rules apply differently depending on what type of campaign you are working on, we decided to place this setting on the campaign level. You’ll find this setting under “Call Recording” on the Campaign settings.

Lead filter based on Contact attempts

When you are working with call logic, it can be difficult to work with different lead types in a differentiated way. Leads that are newly uploaded should perhaps be worked with in a different way that those who have already had several unanswered call attempts. This is now possible due to the introduction of “Contact attempts filter”. Furthermore, you can schedule these filters. For example, you can set the campaign to call leads with 0 - 3 contact attempts between 10.00 and 14.00 on Mondays and 4+ contact attempts on Fridays between 15.00 and 18.00. All other times you call all leads as usual.Of course, you’ll find changes made to this lead filter logged in the Change Log. You’ll find this cool feature in the Campaign settings. You’ll also find a detailed article in the Hero Help Portal.

Indication of unsaved changes

When you are working with Campaign settings and you cancel on a change you’ve done, you would lose all changes you’ve made if it wasn’t for a new function we’ve added. The new function will alert you that you have unsaved changes and the page will indicate what those changes are. This way, the risk of losing valuable work and time is brought to a minimum. away from that page, your changes will be lost. We are all hard working people and I guess you, like myself, find that, redoing detailed work is not the best way to spend the weekend.
