I know many of you are enjoying a well earned vacation right now so this E-mail will reach you in a month or so. Over here on Herobase, we are still working hard to give you new features and improvements at a steady rate even though some of us are keeping one eye on the current football game ⚽

Differentiated deletion of Call Recordings

Since the introduction of GDPR, some of you have asked us about deletion of the audio files kept from the recorded conversations. Storing these recordings under the regulations of GDPR has been on debate for some time now and there are quite a few different interpretations.In order to comply to any interpretation, we have designed a solution where you can choose to automatically delete recordings older than a date that you configure. If you find it necessary, you can also differentiate the deletion times based on Success/Non-success and Full/partial recording. This should cover all possible deletion scenarios.

Synchronisation with external calendars

This has been requested by pretty much all of you bookers out there for some time now. Now it is here!In order to cover as many different scenarios and calendar types as possible, we chose to integrate via “CalDAV” (a generic protocol for synchronising calendars across systems). There are plenty of integrators and ready made plug-ins for example to Ms Outlook and Google Calendar. You’ll also find lots of tips and tricks on the internet and we have made our own detailed description of this feature. You’ll find it on our Help Portal.

Dial-pad fixes and improvements

As mentioned earlier, we have finally solved the dial-pad issue that has affected many of our customers.

Now you can use dial-pad with all dialer types.

From now on, you can use the numbers 0-9 (on top row or left keypad) and * and # on your physical keyboard when the dial pad is open.

You are now able to close the dial-pad down by simply hitting escape (ESC)
