Release Letter - January 2018

General:

We hope that you’re all back from some nice and relaxing holidays and that you’ve kicked off 2018 in a good way. To get you off to a good start, we’re releasing the first update of the year already on Tuesday 23/1. This release contains mainly fixes and improvements and you’ll find the highlights below.

Merge Fields in Appointment Details and Lead Log

When entering appointment details in the Hero Calendar, there is always a risk of entering information incorrectly. Also, agents type the same info for each appointment they book on the same campaign. To avoid typos and to avoid repetitive typing, we’re introduction merge fields on Calendar appointments. The first thing you need to do when using this feature is to activate a setting named “Summary fields” on the field in your Campaign Template. You do this by clicking the Summary Field and selecting the areas where you want this field to be merged:

If I, in the example above, select “CalendarTitle”, the field “Person name” will be merged into the title field of the calendar appointment. By this method, you can very easily get the address of the lead merged into the notes of an appointment without risk of typos.

Contact attempt removed from Lead Log

Recently we introduced some improvements to the Lead Log. This caused the lead log to also show every contact attempt to be entered as a separate item. This could appear confusing so we have now removed it again and thereby keeping the Lead log clear of any irrelevant information

Fixes and Improvements

  • You can now create calendar appointments in “Create lead”
  • Feature permission “Manage campaign permissions” now also control “Permissions” in Campaign Overview
  • Fixed the bug in Triggers where you want to clone leads if they reach “Max contact attempts”
  • Fixed bug that causes “Shuffle” to stall
  • Fixed minor bug where deleted campaign templates are still selectable in some filters
