Release Letter - November 2017

General:

This release holds a bunch of features that you guys have requested. From the entire HeroBase crew we would like to express our gratitude for this priceless input by providing you with this new release where you will find most of your requests realised. Thank you so much and enjoy the latest and greatest in Hero Outbound!

Freeze Dial controls

We’ve added a function that allows the administrator to prevent the dial controls from moving changing position. You’ll find the control to turn this on or off in the menu under Administration / Settings.

Quick charts

Sometimes the data collected in Lead Admin can be hard overview if the result of the selected view produces large amounts of leads. In order to get that overview you often need to export the result to Excel and create a pie chart. With this new feature we allow you to cut some corners and create the desired pie chart immediately in Hero Outbound. Now you can instantly create a chart from any of the columns in the Lead view.

Export to Excel, CSV and TXT

We’ve had a quite a few requests from you guys to implement export to XLS- and TXT-format. Thank you very much for the input. With this release, you will be able to select what format the exported files will have. To make sure that we cover all situations, we’re also allowing you to select what type of encoding you want on the files. This way you will find that letters like ø, æ and å are exported properly.

Color themes on Contact page

Again, your feedback has been really useful in the development of the color themes. So far, we have added 2 new themes (Grayscale and Cobalt). Go to the Administration/Settings, activate a color theme and then head into the Contact page to try it out!

Shuffle lead pools

If you upload a large list of leads sorted on for example city, there is a fair chance that you’ll be calling people from Aarhus all day. Maybe you want to mix it up a bit so that the agents get to hear a greater variation of accents. With this feature you can easily mix it up by simply “shuffling” the lead pool. Select the lead pool and hit “Shuffle” in the actions and the agents will immediately be talking to a greater variation of leads.

Include lead log when cloning leads

When leads are cloned (manually or for example, by a trigger) it can be quite useful to keep the history on the clone. This allows the agent to catch up on the lead history even before calling them for the first time on a new campaign!

Add lead to queue

Prior to this release, you could filter out a lead and click “Dial” to call the lead immediately. This meant that you had to use a number of clicks for every lead you wanted to get hold of with this method. Now you can filter out a number of leads that you want to call and add them to a queue. Then, as you head into the contact page, this queue will be handled lead by lead. This saves you a lot of clicks!

Shared Reports and Lead Views

Imagine that you have just created a really great report that pulls exactly the data that you need for a particular client. Then you want one of your colleagues to have the same report or a very similar report but for a different client. The sharing feature is also available for sharing Lead Views with your colleagues.

Track login attempts

We have added one more menu item under administration named “Access log”. Here you’ll find all attempts to log on to your Corporate in Hero Outbound. In the log, you will see: - what username was used- time and date for the attempt - if the attempt was successful- from what IP-address the attempt was made.

Report time multiplier

Since the report tool cannot catch all the work that an agent performs, for example when closing a lead as a success, we’ve implemented a time multiplier tool that will help you to report a more accurate time usage. This is very handy when a significant portion of the agent’s time is used on writing e-mails, booking meetings in external systems and similar activities.
