Entry Group Options
If you have a complex offer to the lead where there are multiple parameters and columns, it is most often impractical to use a classic Picklist. For this purpose, we have created a feature named Entry Group.The Entry Group is simply a table of products and the corresponding product details. In my example, my customer is a provider of mobile subscriptions with an offer to purchase a SmartPhone. In February 2018, they want us to call their leads who are about to reach the last month of their current subscription. My customer has sent me an Excel sheet containing their offer. It looks like this:

As you can see, this is not easy to create simply with picklists or other standard data types. I need an Entry Group!
Start by heading over to your Campaign template and create a field that should hold the offers that the leads can select from. Open that field for editing and look down on the left side for a field named “Entry Group Options”. Click the plus (+) to create a new Entry Group. You will now get a popup where you can enter the name of the new Entry Group. In my example, I chose the name “FEB MobileOffers”:
When this is done, you need to let the Entry Group know what column in the table that this particular field is going to hold. You enter this exactly as it is written in the head of your table. In my case, it is the first column “Product”:
Next, you need to create fields for the rest of the columns in the file in the same fashion while choosing the same Group name but a different column for each field. In my example, it will look something like this:
In the next step, I assume that you have created a campaign based on this Campaign template. In my example I’m using a campaign Named “MG_FEB Mobile Offer” and I have uploaded the first batch of leads.
I now head over to the Campaign Overview and select my campaign. On the right side, I now click “Entry group data”:
I’m now brought to a page where I need to create a new “Entry group data config. So I click “Add”. In the box below, I choose a name that makes sense to my context and I type the exact name of the Entry Group I created in the Campaign Template. In the top of the window, I will see what Entry groups that match my search:
So, I click “Save” and now I can add my data set by clicking “Add”:
You will notice that a new area opens up below and here you need to enter a Description (I just use the same as the name of the config) and a valid period, if necessary.
To the right of this area, you’ll see a button that allows you to upload an Excel file with your data. I click this button and select the Excel-file that holds my table from above. When done, it should look something like this before I click “Save”:
You’re now done with the creation and on the Contact page, the agents will get the option to add products from the Entry Group. It will look something like this:
Note that the list of products will open up into a new window and the fields in the contact page will represent whatever selection the agent makes.
