Release Letter - June 2017 (2)

CPR validation

With this release, we introduce a validation of CPR-numbers (social security numbers in Denmark) when entered by the agent on the Contact page. The method used is called “Modulus 11” and this is the same method that is used by the Danish social security system for the generation of the CPR numbers. Using this validation ensures that CPR-numbers are not entered incorrectly and that there are no invalid CPR-numbers in the outcome of your work.

Lead “token” as a merge field

We now introduce a nice feature that allows you to incorporate a unique lead identifier in an e-mail to the leads. This “lead token” can, for example, be integrated into a link where the lead is automatically identified and enriched with whatever data you apply to this link. It is especially useful if you are working with webpages where the leads enter data by themselves. Then the web site will automatically identify the lead and the lead data will be entered immediately when the lead enters the page. We implemented this feature in a secure fashion so that no data can be picked up and decrypted by any external service. The token can only be “decrypted” by a key supplied by the Hero system.
